East Lothian Current: 🌊 16th August 2024
Boozy Bookclubs, Beach Wellness and East Lothian Food & Drink Market
Although it feels as if most of East Lothian has hopped on the train to Edinburgh for the Fringe, there’s still plenty going on closer to home, especially if you’re looking to escape the crowds and get outside.

What’s On
🌊 To Chill: Watermind Scotland are offering free tickets to their 100th wellness event at Gullane Beach this Sunday. You’ll still need to sign up for this - beach yoga, breathwork and a cold water dip, followed by cake and toasted marshmallows by the fire.
🎟️ To Book: There are still tickets left for The Boozy Bookclub at the Marine Hotel in North Berwick on Wednesday 28th August. This month’s book is the excellent The Kings Witches by Kate Foster.
🎸 To Dance: 60s/70s rock and blues group Flexible are heading to The Scottish Seabird Centre next Thursday. Get your tickets here before they go.
🧀 To Eat: East Lothian Food and Drink Market is coming to North Berwick on Saturday 24th August. Head to St Andrew Blackadder Church Hall from 11am to 3pm for tasty treats aplenty.
🍄🟫 To Feel Like A Fun Guy: Welcome in September with this walking workshop where you’ll learn all about foraging mushrooms. Don’t delay, tickets are selling fast, and there isn’t mush room left…
