Can I make a confession? Every week when I sit down to research and write this newsletter, I worry that I won’t find enough to share. It’s the middle of February, it’s cold and dark, everyone’s still a bit skint from Christmas… And yet every week I’m surprised and delighted by all that’s happening across East Lothian, most of it led by volunteers and independent businesses. It’s one of the reasons I love writing The Current, and why I love living here 💕

💗 In need of Valentine’s Day inspiration? The rejuvenate and restore yoga retreat at the Marine this Saturday (15th) looks heavenly, and still has spaces available.

👨🏻🎨 This is sadly sold out, but worth keeping an eye on for future events - Artist Breakfast at Dukes of West Barns on Thursday 20th.
⛰ Ocean Vertical are hosting a Nepalese Feasting and Fundraising Evening next Friday (21st) - there are only a few tickets left so move fast with this one!
